Burn the House Down (2023) plot & review

After her mother took the blame for a tragic fire 13 years ago, Anzu plots revenge by working as a housekeeper under a pseudonym for her icy stepmother.

The rich Mitarai family has operated a hospital for many years. Their house is destroyed in a fire one day. 13 years later, Makiko Mitarai (Kyoka Suzuki) hires Anzu Murata (Mei Nagano) from a housekeeping agency. She is Osamu Mitarai’s second wife.

Anzu Murata soon starts working as a housekeeper at the Mitarai family’s residence. She works in their house with a hidden agenda.
