While Hakim was studying engineering at his College Saint-Laurent, film producer Sophie Deraspe was auditioning for her historical biographical drama film Antigone. Hakim’s literature professor advised him to audition for the film.
Hakim gave audition and got selected for the role of Antigone’s older brother, Eteocles. Despite not having any proper acting training, Hakim has played the character of Eteocles in the film Antigone very well.
After this film, HakIm getting many audition calls from film directors and casting directors, out of which there was also an audition call for the film Montreal Girls.
