Set in the Netflix series Jeju Island, the story revolves around Jo Yeong-pil and two childhood friends.

Welcome to Samdal-ri 2023 Review
In this drama, a hero who appears to be flying skyward like a dragon eventually returns to earth after losing everything and losing his breath.
The plot takes place on Jeju Island, focusing on two childhood friends Jo Yong-pil (Ji Chang-wook) and Jo Sam-dal (Shin Hye-sun). Yeong-pil chooses to become a weather forecaster in order to save the senior citizens in his hometown after losing his mother as a result of a false weather report.
However, he has a reputation as a determined troublemaker due to his zeal and determination to disseminate false information. In contrast, Sam-dal, now known as Jo Eun-hee, relocates to Seoul to pursue her dream of becoming a successful fashion photographer.
However, when her life suddenly changes, she returns to her hometown, where she is reunited with Yeong-pil. Despite an incident that drove them apart, both friends feel that their affection for each other is still deep and strong.

Ji Chang-wook, born July 5, 1987, is a South Korean actor and singer. He became famous for playing the lead role of Dong-hee in the daily drama series Smile Again (2010–2011).
